This man makes $12 dollars and hour, and he’s worth half-a-million

One of the great challenges I run into as a Finance professor is convincing our people to believe in themselves. Many of us think of poverty as some kind of horrendous and incurable disease, an affliction that can only be solved with unconditional loyalty to the Democratic Party. The tough reality is that there are those who have a vested interest in keeping us broke and with a poverty mindset.

This man was born before integration, so he wasn’t impacted with such a debilitating lack of hope. Please watch this video and share with others so they too can understand the power of long-term savings and investing, and how this can make a difference between being able to provide for your family or crying the blues into the grave.
